Reasons to say i love you

‘I Love You’ are three simple words that have a huge impact on you relationship with someone. Whether it be a partner, wife or someone you really like. If it is said with heart felt honesty then it can springboard your relationship from zero to the stars. Below is just some of the effects that these three simple words can have. However, don’t be fooled into thinking you can just say I Love You, you have to mean it. It will show.

 1.Bring You Closer Together

The act of saying I love you can instantly bring two people closer together. It can turn a relationship between two friends in to the start of something more. It can remind your partner of the feelings that you have for them and bring your relationship back to a happy place.

2. Make your Partner Feel More Important

This is from personal experience. I have been with my partner now for a number of years, but hearing them say ‘ I Love You’ and meaning it makes me feel so important. What better feeling in the world is there than having someone so committed to you and to love you for the person that you are. That feeling you get, is the same feeling your partner has when you tell them.

3. Love Reduces Stress

It is a known fact that ¬†love reduces stress. Think of a time when you were stressed out thinking the world was on your shoulders. The simple words of ‘I Love You’ would make you realise that you have an ally, some one to share the stress and help you. It comes down the old saying ‘A problem shared is a problem halved’.

4. Love is Contagious

Love, like smiling, is contagious. An example of this can be seen in schools all over the world. Someone tells you that so and so likes you. You may never have thought about that person in that way, but all of a sudden you cant help but pay more attention to that person.

5. Improves Trust

When you are in the early stages of a relationship, or even further down the road, it can be difficult to trust someone if you don’t know how they feel about you. By knowing that someone loves you, and only you, it can make it easier to trust that person with your life as they are not going to hurt someone they love.

Sharing a little love can be great for your relationship. Today, tell the person you love how you feel and see the difference it will make.

This is just a few of the many reasons, part two will be coming soon.
